UDA Holdings Redevelopment of Kompleks Niaga Utama, Bangsar (Behind Dataran Maybank)

UDA Holdings Bhd plans to redevelop the under-utilised Kompleks Niaga Utama in Bangsar into residential serviced apartment. The land is strategically located just behind Dataran Maybank and UOA Bangsar. The project is expected to generate Gross Development Value (GDV) of more than RM250mil. Consist of 294 units in 2 blocks, the development will have a rooftop swimming pool and a gazebo which is located at Level 38 while other facilities include jogging track and children’s playground on the lower tower of Level 28.

This redevelopment is the second residential tower that UDA will develop in Bangsar.  The first was in 2008 – The Gaya Bangsar (285 units condominium) next to Dataran Maybank, with unit sizes ranging from 671 sq feet to 1,610 sq feet and priced between RM350,000 and RM900,000 each at the time of launch. Gaya Bangsar is currently transacted at around RM850 – 950 psf in the subsale market.
